Bizzarini 5300 GT Strada
Everyone should enjoy tonight’s Dream Garage. All you need to do is pick three vehicles between model years 1963-1973 and from different countries. If you’d like to take it up a notch then here is your secondary criteria:
All three vehicles need to have same nomenclature themes. Whether that means all the vehicles are named after places, animals, actions, or solely use alphanumeric designations is up to you. Don’t hesitate to go outside your comfort zone a little bit and as always, enjoy yo’selves!
*Since vehicle styling changed a lot within the same generations, if you can pinpoint a model year then I’ll give you a pass on any other criteria outside of being model years 1963-1973.

I’ve gone for the bonus challenge as well
Since I’m a bit dull, it’s all alphanumerics.
From MURICA is the MKII Ford GT40
From Japan is the Toyota FJ40. I’ll take mine like this please.
And from Germany will be the adorable Amphicar 770

Was super hoping you found a third car with an “AA40" designation. Still happy though!

But it probably wouldn’t have been as cool. was there anything Italian that had that?

First off, if it’s the 60s, you have to have the world’s most expensive luxury car: The 1968 Mercedes-Benz 600 “Grosser”
Next, from Italy, the incomparable, astoundingly beautiful 1969 Maserati Ghibli SS 4.9 coupe.
And from America, for the first year of production only, pumping out 400 horses and 550 lb-ft of torque from an unbridled 500cid V8 with 10:1 compression: the 1970 Cadillac Eldorado.

Lotus Elan Sprint 1965

I honestly can’t think of any instance in which an Italian automaker used a 2 digit number. Everything coming to mind is either 3 or 4 digits. I’m going to look around because now it’s going to bother me.
